Some companies must restrict vehicle tracking during specific days or hours, especially when vehicles are assigned to employees and local regulations limit geolocation outside working hours.

To support these cases, the platform allows you to define schedules that automatically:

• Enable geolocation only during selected times, or
• Disable geolocation when tracking is not legally permitted

You can create multiple schedules and assign them to individual vehicles, groups, or the entire fleet.

🧭 What is a Tracking Schedule?

A Tracking Schedule defines when a tracker is allowed to collect geolocation data.

You can configure:

• Specific days (e.g., Monday to Friday)
• Time ranges (e.g., 08:00–18:00)
• Exceptions for holidays or special dates
• Zones based on the vehicle’s time zone

When a vehicle is outside the permitted schedule, the tracker will not collect or show location data.

1. How to create a New Schedule

1. Go to Settings → Schedule

2. Click + New Schedule

   

3. Fill in the following fields:

   

• Schedule name: A descriptive name (e.g., “Working Hours”, “No Tracking Weekends”).
• Time zone: Select the time zone the schedule should follow.
• Description: Optional: add context for other administrators.

1. Configure tracking days:

   Under the Tracking days tab:

   1. Choose Allows tracking only during selected days and hours

      • Select the days tracking is permitted

      • Define time ranges for each day (if needed)

        Example: Tracking allowed Monday–Friday, 08:00–19:00.

2. Add exceptions:

   Under the Exceptions tab:

   • Choose a date (e.g., a holiday)
   • Optionally mark it as Every year
   • Click Add exception

   Exceptions disable tracking even if the day normally allows it.
