Now that you already know the potential of automation and what’s in our backstage, it’s time to show you how to use them to improve your mobility.

The first step, is to visit the Alerts menu:

If you still have not any alert activated, you will need to press + Add Alert

Select the notification that you want to receive.

For each Alert, you will need to configure 3 simple steps:

1. Input: the vehicles or group of vehicles that will be affected by this notification. You can choose them among every vehicle uploaded in Connect.
2. Condition: what are you measuring? include your inputs as wished in order to be notified. For example: would you like to receive an alert each time a vehicle moves more than 100km? Add this distance and how often you wish to be notified.
   • Please note that some Alerts will requiere you to upload your own points of interest or geofences, so
3. Output: select where you want to receive this notifications. You can normally choose among email (please include the address) or webhook.

What is a webhook? A webhook is essentially a "user-defined HTTP callback". It's an event-driven mechanism where one system (the source) sends data to another system (the destination) via an HTTP request when a specific event occurs.
